RCR NEWS OUT WORTH LOOKING AT....

NEWS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

February 16, 2010 Trading Symbol RCR: TSXV

Rockcliff Continues to Hit High Grade Copper-Gold at Rail Zone
3.62m Grading 5.05% Copper, 1.76g/t Gold, 2.77% Zinc and 19.4 g/t Silver
Second Drill Rig to be Added to Snow Lake Project
Toronto, Ontario. Rockcliff Resources Inc. (RCR: TSXV) is pleased to announce that drilling on the Rail Zone continues to intersect high grade copper-gold mineralization. The Rail property is part of Rockcliff’s Snow Lake Project located in central Manitoba. Hole RL10-50 intersected 3.62m of massive sulphides grading 5.05% copper, 1.76g/t gold, 2.77% zinc and 19.4g/t silver including 1.52m grading 8.01% copper, 2.45g/t gold, 2.61% zinc and 31.2g/t silver. The hole was drilled in an area 30m north of the recent high grade intersections (see release dated November 10, 2009) which included 4.74m grading 9.02% copper, 3.46g/t gold, 1.62% zinc and 36.5g/t silver. Drilling has now increased the Rail Zone to approximately 715m of strike length and up to approximately 450m deep. The Rail Zone remains open in all directions and is hosted within juvenile arc rocks of the Snow Lake camp. All VMS mines within the camp are hosted in juvenile arc rocks of the Flin Flon greenstone belt.
Drilling is continuing on the Rail Zone and results will be reported to the public when available.
Highlights from previous holes (RL07-01 to RL09-46) and additional maps completed by Rockcliff on the Rail Zone can be viewed on the Company’s website at www.rockcliffresources.com. Highlights from the recent drill holes RL10-47 to RL10-50 are tabulated below including:
• 0.46m grading 11.65% copper, 5.01g/t gold, 1.87% zinc and 49.7g/t silver (RL10-47);
• 4.42m grading 1.46% copper, 0.28g/t gold, 1.32% zinc and 6.4g/t silver including
1.34m grading 3.37% copper, 0.55g/t gold, 2.32% zinc and 13.5g/t silver (RL10-48);
• 2.91m grading 1.97% copper, 2.91g/t gold, 1.22% zinc and 11.7g/t silver including
1.01m grading 3.63% copper, 6.04g/t gold, 2.62% zinc and 18.7g/t silver (RL10-49);
• 3.62m grading 5.05% copper, 1.76g/t gold, 2.77% zinc and 19.4g/t silver including
2.10m grading 7.35% copper, 2.79g/t gold, 2.57% zinc and 28.6g/t silver including
1.52m grading 8.01% copper, 2.45g/t gold, 2.61% zinc and 31.2g/t silver (RL10-50).
Ken Lapierre, President and CEO of Rockcliff commented, “Near surface drilling continues to intersect high grade massive sulphides representing a continuation of the Rail Zone towards the north. Rockcliff is completing a DPEM geophysical survey in an untested area north of the present results which will assist in identifying any extensions to the zone of massive sulphides. One of the two drill rigs will be dedicated to the Rail Zone for the foreseeable future”.
The second drill rig will focus on targets including DPEM & BHPEM anomalies (Reed), an untested borehole anomaly (Freebeth) and untested, buried ZTEM targets (Tramping and/or Squall). Rockcliff’s properties, within its Snow Lake Project, are situated within the Flin Flon greenstone belt, one of the most prolific and the largest Proterozoic VMS District in the world.
Significant assay results from drill holes RL10-47 to RL10-50 are tabulated below along with drill hole information. The lengths reported are drill intersected core lengths and do not represent true widths.

(m) = metres, % = percentage, g/t = grams per tonne, * Imperial grid used. Co-ordinates are approximate.
Holes 47 to 50 are the furthest north holes that have intersected the Rail Zone and extend the zone by an additional 30m of strike. The Rail Zone in this area continues to be hosted by a single, massive sulphide lens rich in copper, gold, zinc and silver and remains open along strike (715m) and at depth (450m). An extension of the surface grid north of the high grade results and a DPEM geophysical survey has been completed. Preliminary DPEM results will be reported to the public when available.
Rockcliff has the exclusive right to earn a 100% interest in the Rail Property from Hudson Bay Exploration and Development Company Limited (HBED), a wholly owned subsidiary of HudBay Minerals Inc. (HBM: TSX). If Rockcliff earns its interest in the Rail Property, HBED will receive a 2% Net Smelter Return Royalty. If Rockcliff earns a 100% interest in the Rail Property, HBED then has the right to acquire up to a 65% interest in the Rail Property. Please refer to the News Release dated March 23, 2007 for further details.
QA-QC STATEMENT
Peter Wood, P.Eng., P.Geo., VP Exploration of Rockcliff, a Qualified Person under the definition of National Instrument 43-101, is responsible for the technical information in this press release and is responsible for verification and quality assurance of Rockcliff’s exploration data and analytical results. Samples of half core are packaged and shipped directly from Rockcliff’s field office to TSL Laboratories (TSL), Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. TSL is a Canadian assay laboratory and is accredited under ISO/IEC 17025. Each bagged core sample is dried, crushed to 70% passing 10 mesh and a 250g pulp is pulverized to 95% passing 150 mesh for assaying. A 0.5g cut is taken from each pulp for base metal analyses and leached in a multi acid (total) digestion and then analyzed for copper, lead, zinc and silver by atomic absorption. Gold concentrations are determined by fire assay using a 30g charge followed by an atomic absorption finish. Samples greater than upper detection limit (3000 ppb) are reanalyzed using fire assay gravimetric using a 1 AT charge. Rockcliff inserted certified blanks and standards in the sample stream to ensure lab integrity.

IF MOMENTUM CONTINUES CONSIDER A FEW....

GOM.V...A STRANGE LITTLE NIPPER. THE PIG FEATURED THIS BACK ON JANUARY 21ST. RAN SOME GREAT NUMBERS TONIGHT (REALLY GREAT IN FACT) AND WAS ON THE TOP TEN FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF NIGHTS. Trading day: TSX extends its winning streak to five sessions

Canadian stock markets climbed for a fifth straight session Tuesday after European finance ministers gave the government of Greece 30 days to get its budget deficit under control and industrial activity in North America continued to improve. The European currency rallied against the U.S. dollar, lifting commodity prices and boosting the Canadian dollar.
The S&P/TSX Composite index jumped 116.56 points, or one per cent, to 11,586.37, while the S&P/TSX Venture composite added 21.39, or 1.4 per cent, to 1,520.14, with the energy and mining sectors advancing nearly two per cent.
Statistics Canada reported that factory sales rose 1.6 per cent in December to $43 billion, the most in a year, while inventories dropped and unfilled orders grew. The New York Federal Reserve bank said its benchmarks of factory orders and factory sales both reached their highest levels in over four years.
The April gold contract gained $29.80, or 2.7 per cent, to $1,119.80 US an ounce, while March silver rose 70.1 cents, or 4.5 per cent, to $16.48 US. March copper jumped 13.9 cents, or 4.5 per cent, to $3.2215 US a pound. March Crude oil ended the session sharply higher, up $2.88, or 3.9 per cent, at $77.01 US. The Canadian dollar added half a cent to 95.83 cents US after an extended weekend where holidays closed exchanges on both sides of the border. New Gold rose $420 cents, or 4.2 per cent, to $4.99 after closing the sale of 70 per cent of the El Morro gold project in Chile to Goldcorp. The deal gives New Gold $50 million in cash, as well as Goldcorp funding New Gold’s share of the project’s construction and development costs. New Gold exercised its right of first refusal, buying the 70-per-cent stake in El Morro from mining giant Xstrata before selling to Goldcorp.
Shares of Labrador Iron Mines added 65 cents, or 11 per cent, to $6.48. The government of Newfoundland and Labrador granted environmental approval for the company’s Schefferville iron mine project. The company signed an agreement with the Port of Sept Iles to use the Point Noire bulk shipping dock originally built for the Wabush mine in the 1960’s.
Petrobank gained $2.57, or five per cent, to $53.79. Its 67-per-cent owned Colombian junior producer Petrominerales jumped $3.03, or 13 per cent, to $26.33 after reporting daily production of 43,800 barrels a day, doubling output in the past six week with two new wells, and casing a third well.
On Wall Steet, the Dow Industrials rallied 169.67 points, or 1.7 per cent, to 10,268.81, for their biggest advance since November. The S&P 500 gained 19.36, or 1.8 per cent, to 1,094.87, while the Nasdaq composite finished up 30.66, or 1.4 per cent, at 2,214.19. Shares of Sequenom gained 74 cents, or 16 per cent, to $5.34 US. The genetics company launched a new blood test for mothers that reveals the baby’s gender in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Terra Industries popped $7.44, or 22 per cent, to $40.69 after the company accepted an all-cash bid of $4.1 billion US, or $41.10 US a share from rival fertilizer producer Yara International. The combined company, controlled by the Norwegian government, will control 30 per cent of the U.S. fertilizer market. Calgary-based Agrium rose $1.19, or 1.8 per cent, to $68.79. The Terra takeover eliminates a major obstacle for Agrium, the second-largest Canadian fertilizer company, in its bid to buy CF Industries. CF had pursued its own acquisition of Terra for more than a year. Its shares climbed Tuesday, adding $3.07, or three per cent to $103.57 US.

THE PIGS PORKY SENSE IS TINGLING.......

A FEW WEEKS BACK THE PIG PUT OUT A RECCO' ON GUL.V BASED ON SOME SCANS THAT HAD BEEN TAKING PLACE AND THEN BEING BACKED BY THE CHARTS. SOMETIMES THE PIGS NOT ALWAYS UP ON THINGS AS HE SHOULD BE IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE FRONT WITH THESE COMPANIES AND SOMETIMES TIME WON'T PERMIT HIM TO DIG TOO MUCH DEEPER. OVER THE WEEKEND THE PIG FEATURED MNL.V AND HOW IT HAD A HUGE INSIDER BUY ON ITS STOCK ON FRIDAY. WELL IT TURNS OUT THEY HAVE VIRTUALLY THE SAME MANAGEMENT (INSERT STUPID LOOKING PIG HERE). SOME OF YOU HUMANS WANTED TO KNOW WHAT IT WAS THE PIG WAS GOING FOR IN HIS DAILY PIG PICKS. THE MAIN ANGLE OF THE PIG IS TO GET THIS SCANNER MACHINE WORKING AT A HIGH ODDS RATE. THEN ONCE WE HAVE THESE PENNY PIGLETS MAPPED OUT WITH THE DATA, INTERPRET THE DATA, AND PICK THE PIGS PICKS BASED ON THESE NUMBERS. GETTING IN EARLY, RIDING A WAVE OR TWO, AND OUT. MOVING ON TO THE NEXT ONE SO AS TO MAXIMIZE RETURNS ON CASH AND REDUCE RISK OF HAVING CASH STAGNATING. A PIG CAN ALWAYS COME BACK TO THE ORIGINAL STOCK ONCE THE SPEC CYCLE STARTS AGAIN. THE PIG CONSIDERS HIMSELF, ALL OF YOU, AS PIONEERS IN A NEW SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR YOU, AT NO COST TO YOU, AND TO MAKE MONEY FOR YOU.YES THE PIG TRADES SOME OF HIS PICKS, AND ONLY AS MANY AS TIME AND MONEY  WILL PERMIT. Opening Ceremony attracts record viewers

13.3 million Canadians watched the entire 3 1/2-hour ceremony from beginning to end

Friday's opening ceremony at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games may not have unfolded exactly as planned, but Canadians didn't care.
A record 13.3 million Canadian viewers watched the entire 3 1/2-hour ceremony from beginning to end, according to CTV.
That figure eclipses the previous benchmark of 10.3 million viewers, set by the Olympic gold-medal hockey game between Canada and the United States at the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City, Utah.
About 23 million viewers - or two out of three Canadians - watched at least some of the Olympic Opening Ceremony on CTV or one of the other 10 networks that aired the event live. The opening ceremony was broadcast in Canada in 11 languages.
Friday's TV audience far outstrips those for previous opening ceremonies. Slightly more than four million viewers watched the 1988 opening ceremony in Calgary. Another four million watched the opening for the Salt Lake Games in 2002. And 1.6 million viewers watched 2008's opening ceremony at the Beijing Olympics, while slightly more than one million viewers watched the opening for the last Winter Games, in Turin in 2006.
Another 33 million viewers watched the opening ceremony in the U.S. on NBC and its sister channels. That is the most-watched opening ceremony for a non-U.S. based Winter Games, second only to the U.S. audience that watched the opening of the Salt Lake City Games in 2002.

A smooth transition for these TSX Venture grads

Gordon Edall
What are we looking for?
Companies that hit the ground running after they made the jump to the Toronto Stock Exchange.
After picking up on a couple of names of recent TSX Venture Exchange graduates in Thursday's screen for top performing small-cap companies, Number Cruncher decided to find out just how well graduates have done after making the move to Canada's big board.
We're not looking at returns for companies that have been acquired, merged with someone else or moved back to the junior venues, we're going to focus on companies that made the move to the TSX and are still making a go of it there.
More about today's screen
We were able to roll the clock back to the beginning of 2007 and track the performance of Venture graduates based on data provided by the TMX Group. After eliminating companies no longer listed on the TSX, we were left with a universe of 113 stocks.
Using the graduation dates provided by the market operator, we were able to use Bloomberg's data to calculate a total return for each company based on when it made its debut on the TSX. The return figures here are based on the closing price on the day of graduation or the first trading day after that – this list isolates the top 25 names, but you can visit tgam.ca/cruncher to see the returns for the entire universe.
Globe Investor provided the current share price data.
What did we find?
Obviously, some companies here have had a lot longer to make a mark, but that doesn't seem to be a driving factor behind returns here. Making a debut in the wake of the Lehman Brothers collapse appears to have helped since the top four names on the list happen in about a three-month window just after the investment bank's initial stumble. Open up a six-month window from that point and you find even more winners as only four of the 16 graduates in that period have stumbled.
More eye opening, in fact, is just how quickly you find names that stumbled once you get beyond this list. Looking at the entire universe, by the time you get to the 31st name on the list, you are already looking at negative returns. Before you get half-way through the full list, you are looking at negative returns in excess of 50 per cent.
