NEW GLOBAL SAMPLES RETURN 153.5 G/T GOLD
New Global Ventures International Ltd. has released analytical results from its recently acquired El Tesoro gold mine in Antioquia, Colombia. New Global's president and chief executive officer, Mark Lawson, said: "We are extremely pleased with these initial results which indicate a potential continuity of higher-grade tenor for this zone of mineralization. We believe this will also help us to accelerate our strategy at El Tesoro as we currently have a team mobilized on the project conducting additional sampling as part of our phase 1 exploration program."
The samples returned high-grade gold, silver and copper mineralization of:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Au (g/t) Ag (g/t) Cu (%)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sample 1 3.5 95.0 0.007
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sample 2 21.1 5,000.0 0.161

Sample 3 43.4 7,860.0 0.148
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sample 4 57.2 7,840.0 0.221

Sample 5 153.5 greater than 0.292

The El Tesoro Mine is located in the Northeast Department of Antioquia, Colombia. The project is comprised of 622 hectares and is located in the Puerto Berrio Mining District, adjacent to concessions owned by AngloGold Ashanti, Mineros S.A. and the Minas el Vapor Gold Mine which has been operating for over 80 years. El Tesoro is located approximately 20 kms from the Gramolate Gold Deposit, which is a joint venture between B2Gold (TSX: BTO) and AngloGold Ashanti (NYSE: AU). In January 2009, B2Gold announced a National Instrument 43-101 compliant inferred mineral resource estimate for the Gramalote Ridge Zone of 74.375 million tonnes grading 1.00 g/t Au for a total of 2.39 million ounces of gold.
Sampling was carried out along 1 vein within 1 of 10 tunnels on the property in which small-scale mining is currently occurring. The sampling along the veins may not be a total representative of all grades across the structures, but it does give an initial indication of the possible grade continuity, and will aid in defining mineralized shoots of higher grade for the Company's future drilling program. All sampling values quoted are continuous chip samples. Follow-up channel sampling perpendicular to the veins will be immediately undertaken in order to confirm grades/widths, and to define additional areas.
The analysis was conducted by ALS Chemex Laboratories. The content of this news release has been reviewed by Mr. Ken Thorsen, P. Eng., who serves as the Qualified Person in accordance with National Instrument 43-101.
